Manager, Operations & Customer Experience

This is a terrific opportunity for a self-motivated operations manager to join our team. At Dog Dude Ranch of Miami (DDR), we’re looking for someone excited to apply proven management and team building skills in all areas of our award-winning dog daycare and boarding business.  Our mission is to be a model of the highest rated, trusted and reviewed boarding facility in the South Florida area. As Manager, Operations & Customer Experience, you will:

  • Oversee all day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, the front office, kennel and customer relations

  • Responsible for increasing company performance and achieving operational excellence

  • Organize activities for dogs, ensure pet safety is our highest priority and make sure our customers are happy

  • Identify inconsistencies in quality and experience, creating corrective and preventive action plans

  • Manage employee scheduling, payroll, career advancement, hiring and all other employee-related activities

  • Facilitate and lead high quality ongoing communication with dog parents, team members and owners

  • Ensure team, customers and pets consistently adhere to kennel policies and procedures

  • Manage and grow DDR’s online presence and be responsible for quality and consistent social media activities

  • Ownership of the pet software platform and ensuring accurate data, reporting and performance

  • Perform other activities and responsibilities in-line with the manager role and function

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • 10+ years of professional working experience 

  • 3+ years managerial experience 

  • Experience working with animals in a professional setting (kennel, training, vet, etc)

  • Available to work weekends and holidays

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus

  • Strong social media experience

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Background and drug check


All team members regardless of title may need to perform duties which involve animal care, supervision, exercise, bathing, training, lifting, bending and cleaning as well as oversight of the physical movement of the guests within the facility for the comfort, safety and care of our guests.
