Kennel Technician

As a Kennel Technician, you will:

Care for many of the daily needs of the dogs including feeding, bathing and administering medication.

Support day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, the front office, kennel and customer relations

Facilitate and lead high quality ongoing communication with dog parents, team members and owners

Perform other activities and responsibilities in-line with the role and function

Maintain a poised, friendly and professional demeanor in both calm and challenging situations

Treat dogs and team members with care and respect

Requirements:
-
Have at least 1 year of veterinary or kennel experience
-
Familiar with standard cuts for a variety of breeds

Familiar with proper handling and restraint of pets
-
Patient, caring attitude towards pets

Proper use and care for equipment
-
Certificate from a grooming program and/or on the job experience

Able to lift up to 40 lbs without assistance

Available to work weekends and holidays

Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
